Friction Control The SQWUREL's tail allows on-the-fly friction adjustment during descent. Start low for awkward downclimbs and increase past the edge. Run high friction for difficult anchor access, then back off to begin rappelling. Adjust momentarily for horizontal traverses or pothole crossings. Fine-tune while lowering loads. Minimal hand movement to shift between settings.
