Output values are ANSI out-the-front (OTF). Runtimes tested with Panasonic Eneloop Pro AA. Remaining 10–20% battery after step-down not counted toward runtime.

Battery
One AA (NiMH, lithium, or alkaline). Panasonic Eneloop or Eneloop Pro recommended. Not included. Operating voltage: 0.7–2.0 V. Negligible parasitic drain.

All levels current regulated. Automatic step-down from High to Medium and Medium to Low at low battery. Low battery alert flashes once every 10–20 seconds when light is off. Battery capacity indicator (LED flashes 1–4 times, 4 short clicks to activate). Electronic soft-touch switch. Tailcap lockout by partial unscrew. Precision machined unibody aluminum casing with proprietary heat sinking — LED board bonded directly to the body. Type III Class I hard anodized finish. Sealed and potted driver circuitry.
