Coming Soon: The Scurion® Single-Cell Battery Case
Scurion is introducing a new battery option that brings a lighter, more compact power source to the Speleo lineup without giving up the durability Scurion is known for. The new Single-Cell case is milled from a solid block of high-quality aluminum and uses the same proven lid mechanism as Scurion’s dive battery casing, which means it carries an IP68 rating and is dive rated to 200 meters. It holds two 21700 cells wired in parallel, and the whole case weighs just 130 grams empty, making it one of the lightest robust battery cases you can put on a helmet or in a pack.

When it arrives, we will be offering two kit options for each of the Speleo 700, 800, and 1500 lamps, as well as the dive lamps. The first is the traditional kit you already know, which includes the standard four-cell battery and charger. The second is a new kit built around the Single-Cell case, which comes with two Samsung 50E 21700 cells (5000 mAh, 9.8 A) and a charger.
At launch, the Single-Cell case will be paired with our black, blue, and red lamp models. If you would rather mix and match colors, we are happy to put together a custom order, so just reach out and let us know what you have in mind.
If you already own a Speleo lamp and want to switch to the new case, we can retrofit it for you. Keep in mind that the retrofit requires some soldering, so a retrofitted case will no longer carry the dive rating, although it will remain a tough, well-sealed option for caving and quick submersions.
Full specifications and pricing are coming soon. If you want to be notified when the new kits are available, or you have questions about a custom build or a retrofit, contact us at Final Frontier Sports.
