The Scurion® lamp now offers an optional ultraviolet (UV) LED, along with its standard two white power LEDs. A third 20 mW, 375 nm UV LED is mounted inside the lamp head, making it easy to have a UV source at hand without needing extra equipment. While this UV LED doesn’t match the brightness of the main white LEDs, it’s ideal for on-the-go UV illumination. Custom wavelengths are available upon request. NOTE THIS CANNOT BE COMBINED WITH THE RED LED

Important Note on UV Lamp Head:
When choosing the UV lamp head, please note a difference in lens material. The non-UV lamp uses a scratch-resistant polycarbonate window, which is highly durable but not transparent to UV light. The UV version, however, requires an acrylic glass window to allow UV transmission. Acrylic glass can scratch more easily, so avoid wiping away dirt, as this may lead to scratches over time. When cleaning, rinse the lamp head under running water whenever possible. Spare glass windows are available, and replacing them is straightforward.
