Our Scurion® lamp head features a practical LED bar, primarily displaying battery charge status so you can always know how much power remains. However, since the LED bar is positioned on the lamp head, it isn’t visible when the lamp is mounted on your helmet. While removing your helmet to check the battery level is an option, there's a better solution
By adding a carefully designed lens to the lamp head, we’ve enabled the LED bar to project onto your hand (if held in front of the lamp) or a nearby wall, allowing for easy monitoring of battery life without helmet removal. Using advanced optics design software, we engineered the optimal lens and layout. The five LEDs are projected through a plano-convex lens, casting the charge status onto any nearby surface with impressive clarity.
Although not a photographic-quality projection, the image is clear enough to reveal even the bond wires of the LEDs, providing a quick, easy way to check your remaining battery power on the go.
